Stations of the Cross and Holy Communion at Church on Fridays

Will be prayed in church on Friday evenings at 6:00 pm.

Stations of the Cross on Parish Website: For those who are still not comfortable coming to church during the pandemic a video version of our stations at St. John’s has be produced with the meditations coming from the Stations of the Cross through the eyes of the Blessed Mother and St. John the Evangelist. You can pray these at home any day of the week during Lent.

Extra Confession Times during Lent

On Friday evenings from 5:30 pm until Stations, Father will be in the Confessional. After the Stations of the Cross on Friday evenings Father will be in the Confessional for as long as needed.

EXTRA Confession times if you don’t take advantage of the regular Confession times that are available to you before every weekend Mass.

Days of Fast and Abstinence

ALL Catholics from the between the ages of 18—60 are obliged for fasting (Only 1 Full meal that day and no in between snacks).

ALL Catholics from the age of 14 on up are obliged to abstain from all Fridays during Lent.
