Knights of Columbus

A Catholic fraternal and charitable organization which offers many opportunities to serve the Church, the parish and beyond by promoting the faith and seeking to make a difference in the community.

Respect Life

The mission of this group is to raise awareness of the sacredness of all human life through various activities, through education, and through prayer. Parish "baby showers" support the local help agency, Hope Unlimited in Paducah. They alert parishioners to upcoming life issues in order to contact our legislators as well as post notices regarding Project Rachel retreats and other life-affirming programs.

St. Vincent de Paul Society

Named after its founder St. Vincent de Paul, this society is part of an international Catholic organization of lay persons founded in 1833. As a parish group, support is provided to the community financially, spiritually, and pastorally. Confidential help, be it food baskets, paying rent or utility bills, or auto repairs can be arranged. Women's Club

St. John the Evangelist women have groups that meet for a variety of services.

  • St. John Quilters use the quilt room in the school building to work on quilts that are raffled off at the church picnic in September. Anyone interested in learning the great art of hand quilting is certainly welcomed to call the Parish Office at 270-554-3810 to be put in contact with some of the professional quilters of the parish.
  • St. John Homemakers Club is affiliated with the University of Kentucky. Meets on the second Wednesday of the month, September thru May in School Cafeteria at 6:30PM. Open to all parishioners and community. Come join us for learning lessons, fellowship and fun.
  • Daughters of Isabella is one of the largest Catholic women’s organizations, with a membership of over 60,000 women from the United States and Canada and has continued to prosper and establish bonds among Catholic women throughout the world. We meet the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30pm at the KC Hall, Jefferson St, Paducah.
